The Point Loma Pointers edged the visiting El Toro Chargers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Pointers face the Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 12. Point Loma will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Caimans go into the game with a 9-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA).

The Chargers (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Beckman was edged by Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
