The Gardiner Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Maranacook Black Bears to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Region for a Class B outing on Saturday, September 14. Gardiner will play a Lakers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Westbrook (Westbrook, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Maranacook drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Black bears travel to Cony (Augusta, ME) to play the Rams in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Cony won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME)
