The Hampton Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Spalding Jaguars to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Locust Grove for a 4A Area 2 outing on Tuesday, September 24. Hampton will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over McDonough (McDonough, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-13.

With the loss, Spalding drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 13-3.
