In Thursday's non-league match, the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Indians battle the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) in a 3A Area 6 match, on Tuesday, September 17. Lumpkin County will attempt to move on its 8-18 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 16-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA).
