Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Montrose tips Lakeland

September 12, 2024: Jermyn, PA 18433

The Montrose Meteors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Lakeland Chiefs to 2 in the Meteors league triumph on Thursday.

The Meteors now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mid Valley for a Lackawanna outing on Tuesday, September 17. Montrose will play a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Lakeland drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to play the Comets in a Lackawanna outing on Tuesday, September 17. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 4-3. Abington Heights lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA)
