The Twin River Titans topped the host McCool Junction Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Titans confront the Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) in a Crossroads game, on Thursday, September 12. Twin River will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Deshler (Deshler, NE).

The Mustangs (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Meridian (Daykin, NE). The Mustangs go into the Crossroads game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Meridian gained a win over Deshler (Deshler, NE), 2-0, in a non-league game.

Match Summary

I was very proud of the ladies in our match with Twin River. We unfortunately got stuck in a deep hole in the first game. We clawed our way back to 20-20 but couldn't quite finish it out. The second game was close all the way, tied again at 21-21. While we didn't quite get the result we hoped for, we took some huge strides forward from where we've been. Meridian is up next, and I'm hoping they can carry their momentum forward into that match!
