South Dakota High School Volleyball - Stanley County tips Philip

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD) and the host Philip Scotties (Philip, SD), observed Stanley County's volleyball team hold off Philip by a count of 3-2.

The Buffalos (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Ipswich got by Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Scotties battle the Rapid City Christian Comets (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Philip will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Comets enter the contest with a 6-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD).
