Pennsylvania High School Football - Abraham Lincoln thwarted by Springside Chestnut Hill Academy

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters (Philadelphia, PA), 27-14 in a non-league match.

The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Hun (Princeton, NJ). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Hun prevailed over Hewlett Sports Academy (Waldorf, MD), 64-0, in a league battle.

The Railsplitters now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Simon Gratz for a Philadelphia Public - Independence battle on Saturday, September 27.
