The McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) football tipped the visiting Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY), 23-20 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Raiders now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlan County for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. McCreary Central will clash with a Black Bears squad coming off a 36-7 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Adair County drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to clash with the Scotties in a 3A District 2 outing on Friday, September 19. The Scotties come into the outing with a record of 4-0. Glasgow won 41-6 in their recent non-league contest against Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY)
