The Altoona Railroaders football team scored 14 points and restricted the host Prescott Cardinals to 0 in the Railroaders league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Railroaders face the St. Croix Central Panthers (Hammond, WI) in a Middle Border challenge, on Friday, September 19. Altoona will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 28-8 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI).

The Cardinals (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Osceola (Osceola, WI). The Chieftains go into the Middle Border challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Osceola toppled Somerset (Somerset, WI), 41-28, in a league test.
