    • Pennsylvania High School Football - Archbishop Wood can't hold off Father Judge

    The Father Judge Crusaders got by the visiting Archbishop Wood Vikings football squad by a count of 27-26 in Friday's non-league test.

    The Crusaders now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springfield Township for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Father Judge will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 42-14 non-league win over Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-0.

    With the defeat, Archbishop Wood drops to 1-3 on the season. The Vikings host Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA) to face the Patriots in a Philadelphia Catholic - Blue challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Archbishop Carroll lost 28-7 in their recent league challenge against Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA)
