Pennsylvania High School Football - Canon-McMillan over Armstrong

September 12, 2025: Canonsburg, PA 15317

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) and the visiting Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA), saw Canon-McMillan's football team gain a win over Armstrong by a final score of 31-21.

With the win, Canon-McMillan advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Big Macs host Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA) to encounter the Blue Devils in a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County bout on Friday, September 19. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Mt. Lebanon lost 57-0 in their recent league bout against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA)

The River Hawks now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Greater Latrobe for a WPIAL AAAAA Big East bout on Friday, September 19. Armstrong will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-7 league win over Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
