Washington High School Football - Auburn can't hold off Bellarmine Prep

Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) followers went home pleased Friday as they witnessed their football squad edge the visiting Auburn Trojans (Auburn, WA), 26-24 in a non-league match.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Kelso (Kelso, WA). The Hilanders enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Kelso got by River Ridge (Lacey, WA), 30-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Kentridge Chargers (Kent, WA) in a 4A North Puget Sound match, on Friday, September 19. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 55-21 non-league loss to Rogers (Puyallup, WA).
