Ohio High School Football - Avon Lake trounces Midview

September 12, 2025: Grafton, OH 44044

In Friday's league match, the visiting Avon Lake Shoremen football squad scored a decisive 39-7 triumph over the Midview Middies.

The Shoremen (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Steele (Amherst, OH). The Comets come into the Southwestern match with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Steele was ripped by Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH), 20-19, in a league battle.

The Middies now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Berea-Midpark for a Southwestern battle on Friday, September 19. Midview will play a Titans team coming off a 20-19 league win over Steele (Amherst, OH). The Titans record now stands at 3-1.
