    The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the host Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), saw Taos's football team bounce Aztec by a final score of 49-12.

    With the win, Taos advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to encounter the Bobcats in a 4A District 1 bout on Friday, September 26. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

    Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a 4A District 1 contest, on Friday, September 19. Aztec will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 56-0 league win over Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).
