In Friday's non-league game, the CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) football team edged the host Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, IA), by a tally of 50-48.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Audubon Wheelers (Audubon, IA) in a 8-Man District 9 (8 Man) game, on Friday, September 19. CAM will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Wheelers enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 84-7 league win over Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA).

With the defeat, Bedford drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Seymour (Seymour, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 19.
