The Mansfield Hornets felled the host Bedford Kicking Mules football team by a score of 35-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 36-35 non-league loss to St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA).
The Kicking Mules (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Monroe (Monroe, MI). The Trojans come into the Southeastern - Red test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Monroe topped Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI), 20-13, in a league test.
