The Bellevue Comets football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Northeast Rebels to 6 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Anamosa for a 2A Group 5 challenge on Friday, September 19. Bellevue will face a Raiders team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.

The Rebels (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians enter the 1A District 5 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Camanche lost by West Branch (West Branch, IA), 56-7, in a non-league challenge.
