In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Rockport-Fulton Pirates football team scored a big 44-3 win over the Bishop Badgers.

With the win, Rockport-Fulton advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates host Kinkaid (Houston, TX) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Kinkaid won 21-6 in their recent non-league battle against St. Thomas Catholic (Houston, TX)

The Badgers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Lyford for a 3A-1 Region IV District 16 battle on Friday, September 19. Bishop will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-7 non-league win over Porter (Brownsville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
