    • Idaho High School Football - Capital smashes Borah

    September 12, 2025: Boise, ID 83704

    The Capital Golden Eagles (Boise, ID) football trounced the visiting Borah Lions (Boise, ID), 55-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

    The Golden Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocky Mountain for a 6A Southern Idaho game on Friday, September 19. Capital will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 31-21 non-league win over Mountain View (Meridian, ID). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-0.

    The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Owyhee (Meridian, ID). The Storm enter the 6A Central Idaho game with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Owyhee smashed Meridian (Meridian, ID), 27-23, in a non-league bout.
