New Jersey High School Football - Brick Memorial tops Point Pleasant Boro

The Brick Memorial Mustangs football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Point Pleasant Boro Panthers to 27 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Toms River North for a Shore - A South test on Friday, September 19. Brick Memorial will meet a Mariners squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Mariners record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Point Pleasant Boro falls to 0-3 on the year. The Panthers host St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ) to face the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. St. John-Vianney won 49-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ)
