The Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) football knocked off the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), 49-35 in Friday's league outing.

The Wolves now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host East Gaston for a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A contest on Friday, September 19. Lincolnton will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 52-0 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs battle the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A contest, on Friday, September 19.
