Texas High School Football - Bushland can't hold off Midland Christian

Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Bushland Falcons (Bushland, TX), 27-24 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Midland Christian improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-1. Cornerstone Christian lost 43-38 in their recent non-league test against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX)

With the defeat, Bushland drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to West Plains (Amarillo, TX) to meet the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 3-0. West Plains won 63-34 in their recent non-league test against Estacado (Lubbock, TX)
