South Carolina High School Football - Irmo defeats Carolina Forest

In Friday's non-league match, the host Irmo Yellow Jackets football squad scored a good 51-21 victory over the Carolina Forest Panthers.

The Yellow Jackets (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Seahawks go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Myrtle Beach was topped by Sumter (Sumter, SC), 63-27, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Ashley Ridge for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Carolina Forest will play a Swamp Foxes team coming off a 35-21 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Swamp Foxes record now stands at 2-2.
