New York High School Football - Cato-Meridian winner over Sandy Creek

September 12, 2025: Cato, NY 13033

The Cato-Meridian Blue Devils (Cato, NY) football overcame the visiting Sandy Creek Comets (Sandy Creek, NY), 34-7 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Mt. Markham Mustangs (West Winfield, NY) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Cato-Meridian will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 27-0 non-league loss to Lowville (Lowville, NY).

The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame (Utica, NY). The Jugglers enter the Section 3 D - 1 game with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame was knocked off by Lowville (Lowville, NY), 42-12, in a league outing.
