Ohio High School Football - Chardon nudges Perry

September 12, 2025: Perry, OH 44081

In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers football team scored a tight 17-13 win over the Perry Pirates.

With the win, Chardon advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH) to play the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Cardinal Mooney lost 27-24 in their recent non-league battle against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH)

The Pirates now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. Perry will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 49-48 non-league loss to Hawken (Gates Mills, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
