Kansas High School Football - Hays holds off Choctaw

The Hays Indians football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Choctaw Yellowjackets to 19 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manhattan for a non-league game on Friday, September 19. Hays will face a Indians team coming off a 47-7 non-league win over Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.

The Yellowjackets (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Bixby (Bixby, OK). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Bixby held off Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK), 56-7, in a non-league game.
