The Columbia Academy Cougars walloped the host Simpson Academy Cougars football team by a tally of 48-14 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets (Amite, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Columbia Academy will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 35-12 non-league loss to Parklane Academy (McComb, MS).
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Wayne Academy overwhelmed Winston Academy (Louisville, MS), 38-13, in a non-league game.
