Texas High School Football - Parish Episcopal nudges Cornerstone Christian

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Parish Episcopal Panthers (Dallas, TX) and the host Cornerstone Christian Warriors (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Parish Episcopal's football squad edge Cornerstone Christian by a count of 43-38.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against LBJ Austin (Austin, TX). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, LBJ Austin got by Wimberley (Wimberley, TX), 34-33, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Midland Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Cornerstone Christian will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 27-24 non-league win over Bushland (Bushland, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
