In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Culver Bulldogs football squad scored a decisive 54-11 triumph over the Grant Union Prospectors.
The Bulldogs (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Columbia (White Salmon, WA). The Bruins come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Columbia was routed by Ilwaco (Ilwaco, WA), 20-12, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Prospectors meet the Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR) in a 2A Special District 6 (9 Man) match, on Friday, September 19. Grant Union will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The TigerScots go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 35-0 non-league loss to Oakland (Oakland, OR).
