Connecticut High School Football - Naugatuck overwhelmed by Darien

In Friday's non-league game, the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) football team triumphed over the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT), by a tally of 35-0.

In their next game, the Blue Wave battle the McMahon Senators (Norwalk, CT) in a Fairfield County - East outing, on Friday, September 19. Darien will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Senators come into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 35-0 non-league loss to Southington (Southington, CT).

With the defeat, Naugatuck drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT) to clash with the Crusaders in a Naugatuck Valley - Tier 1 outing on Friday, September 19. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Holy Cross lost 32-21 in their recent non-league outing against Masuk (Monroe, CT)
