Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Donoho Falcons (Anniston, AL), 2-0 in a league match.
The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Victory Christian (Pell City, AL). The Lions go into the 1A Region 6 battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Victory Christian was tipped by Woodland (Woodland, AL), 35-21, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Falcons meet the Winterboro Bulldogs (Alpine, AL) in a 1A Region 6 match, on Friday, September 19. Donoho will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 28-21 league win over Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL).
