The Dougherty Valley Wildcats football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Hercules Titans to 25 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Dougherty Valley will face a Titans team coming off a 55-14 non-league loss to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
The Titans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Napa (Napa, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Napa was edged by Analy (Sebastopol, CA), 56-35, in a non-league challenge.
