The Eagle Point Eagles football team (Eagle Point, OR), was ripped 47-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR)

In their next game, the Colts face the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) in a 5A Special District 4 challenge, on Friday, September 19. Thurston will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Axe enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 58-18 league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR).
