    The Grand Ledge Comets felled the visiting East Lansing Trojans football team by a score of 45-27 in Friday's league challenge.

    In their next game, the Comets face the Holt Rams (Holt, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue challenge, on Friday, September 19. Grand Ledge will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 53-18 non-league win over Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).

    The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Okemos (Okemos, MI). The Wolves go into the Capital Area - Blue test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Okemos was defeated by Everett (Lansing, MI), 20-13, in a league test.
