The East Providence Townies football squad scored 32 points and limited the visiting West Warwick Wizards to 28 in the Townies league triumph on Friday.

The Townies now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westerly for a Division II challenge on Friday, September 19. East Providence will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-12 non-league win over RHAM (Hebron, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

The Wizards (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI). The Tigers go into the Division II test with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Tolman held off Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 27-25, in a league challenge.
