The Eastern Comets football squad (Greentown, IN), was nudged 21-20 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN)

The Titans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN). The Bulldogs enter the Hoosier Heartland contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Clinton Central was nudged by Sheridan (Sheridan, IN), 40-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets battle the Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland bout, on Friday, September 19. Eastern will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 45-6 league win over Delphi Community (Delphi, IN).
