New York High School Football - Putnam Valley trounces Edgemont

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers football team scored a big 48-16 win over the Edgemont Panthers.

With the win, Putnam Valley advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY) to play the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 0-2. Woodlands lost 35-12 in their recent league battle against Haldane (Cold Spring, NY)

The Panthers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Irvington for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Edgemont will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-12 league win over Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
