The Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings walloped the visiting Kee Kee Hawks football team by a score of 64-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Edgewood-Colesburg will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 66-23 league win over West Central (Maynard, IA).
The Kee Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Elkader, IA). The Warriors enter the 8-Man District 4 (8 Man) game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Central overwhelmed Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA), 42-14, in a league game.
