North Carolina High School Football - Pine Forest sneaks past E.E. Smith

The Pine Forest Trojans football squad scored 33 points and limited the host E.E. Smith Golden Bulls to 27 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Fear for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Pine Forest will meet a Colts squad coming off a 30-20 non-league win over Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, E.E. Smith drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Golden bulls travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-1. Gray's Creek won 51-7 in their recent non-league test against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC)
