In Friday's non-league match, the host Union Bobcats football squad scored a decisive 54-12 victory over the Elgin Huskies.
The Bobcats (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Prairie City/Burnt River (Prairie City, OR). The enter the 1A Special District 4 (8 Man) match with a 0-3 record.
Coming up next, the Huskies confront the Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) in a 1A Special District 3 (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 19. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Rangers enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 20-12 non-league win over Crosspoint Christian (Klamath Falls, OR).
