The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Meadville went down by Oil City (Oil City, PA), 17-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Royals meet the Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Erie will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 21-19 league win over Sharon (Sharon, PA).
