California High School Football - Lodi nudged by Escalon

In Friday's non-league game, the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) football team edged the visiting Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA), by a tally of 35-28.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) in a Trans Valley League game, on Friday, September 19. Escalon will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 35-24 non-league win over Turlock (Turlock, CA).
