The Seymour Owls football team (Seymour, IN), dropped 42-14 in Friday's league bout with the host Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN)

With the win, Floyd Central advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN) to encounter the Red Devils in a Hoosier Hills contest on Friday, September 19. The Red Devils enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Jeffersonville won 24-14 in their recent non-league contest against Kokomo (Kokomo, IN)
