In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Franklin County Tech Eagles football team scored a big 48-0 win over the McCann Tech Hornets.

With the win, Franklin County Tech advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Red Hawks go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Frontier Regional won 40-6 in their recent non-league battle against Athol (Athol, MA)

The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mahar Regional for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. McCann Tech will play a Senators team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Monument Mountain (Great Barrington, MA). The Senators record now stands at 0-1.
