The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats walloped the visiting Russellville Panthers football team by a score of 49-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 19. Franklin-Simpson will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Blue Tornado go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 25-22 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY).
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Murray (Murray, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Murray bounced Marshall County (Benton, KY), 55-28, in a non-league challenge.
