The Franklin Indians felled the visiting Parkville Knights football team by a score of 36-9 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians play the Owings Mills Golden Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 26-18 non-league win over North County (Glen Burnie, MD).

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dulaney (Timonium, MD). The Lions go into the Class 4A3A North challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Dulaney knocked off Catonsville (Baltimore, MD), 34-0, in a non-league test.
