Virginia High School Football - Freedom crushed by Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Freedom Eagles (Woodbridge, VA), 53-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mount Vernon improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Majors host Centreville (Clifton, VA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. Centreville won 38-14 in their recent non-league test against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)

With the defeat, Freedom drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mountain View (Stafford, VA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-2. Mountain View lost 42-7 in their recent non-league test against Patriot (Nokesville, VA)
