    The Giddings Buffaloes football squad (Giddings, TX), was beaten 42-14 in Friday's non-league match with the host Salado Eagles (Salado, TX)

    The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Bumblebees enter the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Little River Academy was beaten by Burnet (Burnet, TX), 31-28, in a non-league match.

    Coming up next, the Buffaloes confront the Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. Giddings will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 33-7 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, TX).
