The Hannibal Pirates football team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Troy-Buchanan Trojans to 26 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Fulton (Fulton, MO). The Hornets come into the North Central Missouri match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Fulton was beaten by Westran (Huntsville, MO), 36-28, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Timberland T-Wolves (Wentzville, MO) in a Gateway - South battle, on Friday, September 19. Troy-Buchanan will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The T-Wolves go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 45-29 non-league loss to North Point (Wentzville, MO).
